First Day of Kindergarten!!

The first day of kindergarten was filled with excitement and fear. Excitement from Ethan and fear from me. The first pictures are from Meet the Teacher Night. The last two are from the first day before we left the house. I took some very adorable pictures in the car on the way to the school, but they were on my phone and my phone broke before I took the pictures off. Needless to say I was very upset when I realized these pictures were gone forever. So this is all I have :(

On the first day, he walked into the school and to his classroom all by himself. So at Meet the Teacher Night we practiced the way to his room.

Here he is, geared up and ready. He was the most adorable thing, but I was so scared for him when I saw this little boy walking through these oversized doors. Luckily he made it to where he needed to go and had a great day. He has been loving kindergarten ever since...yay!

The Happiest Place On Earth

Ever since Ethan realized what Disney was, I have promised him I would take him to Disneyland when he turned 5. So this summer (I mean hot, muggy August) my family and I took him to Disneyworld. We spent the week going to the Magic Kingdom, the Animal Kingdom, Epcot Center, and Hollywood Studios. So here are a few pictures from our very fun adventure.

We took two days and drove to Florida from Houston. As usual, we stopped and had a picnic lunch along the way.

We stood in lots of hot, crowded lines...but we endured with smiles on our faces.

Dumbo was Jeremy's favorite ride when we were kids. He would ride it over and over and over, so we figured Ethan would love it too. He was so bored...we stood in line for this ride for over an hour and he was less than thrilled. Oh, well. We had to try. He is very much a thrill seeker.

We had a blast and look forward to our next Disney adventure. Ethan can't wait until he's taller and can ride all of the roller coasters. His favorite ride was the Tower of Terror. As we were leaving the park he could barely stay awake, but he kept repeating Tower of Terror, Tower of Terror, Tower of Terror. He couldn't get enough of it, he wanted to ride it again. It was hillarious.
