We are now in Utah visiting Jer and Amy. So I wanted to post all of the pictures from Ohio before we move on to Utah. So please enjoy...

Elaine, Ethan, and I took a little hike to some very pretty falls (I have already forgotten the name of them).

Here Ethan is putting to good use the skills he has learned in his gymnastics class. He's balancing on two logs trying to cross the stream. He was very successful at it the four times we crossed it.

He makes it look a lot easier than it was.

Can you tell he's being forced to pose?

One day we went to a Historical Living Farm. We brought a friend (Lindsey) along with us so Ethan would finally have another kid to play with. The poor guy is always stuck with adults.

They learned about the kinds of toys kids used to play with before tv and video games. This marble game was a big hit. He would have been happy if that was all we did that day.

They also learned how to shell their own corn. Lindsey ground the corn...

...while Ethan took it off the cob. They made a great team.
While they were doing that, Elaine and I were fascinated by the baby bird in the nest above them. It was the cutest little hungry head.

Another day we went to the U.S. Air Force Museum. We saw everything from the very first planes to the modern day spaceship looking planes.

Here Ethan was able to try on a space suit Looks like a pretty good fit.

He was able to sit in a cockpit of a plane...
...and walk inside another plane.

I thought he liked airplanes and helicopters before, but now they may even be better than Thomas the Train.
